I was walking down the street of the town I grew up in and ran into two of my old school friends. We met one another warmly hugging and smiling. Next we were in an empty shop in the msn street and 5 of our other male friends from school were there and we were watching a presentation one of them was giving. It was very informal and we spent a lot of time catching up on the last 40 plus years . There was lots of laughter and as more people arrived the more fun we had. One of the men, lived in the same place my husband and had at the same time, we spoke fondly of our separate times there. I told my story of what I did and how my husband had passed away 6 years ago to a smaller group. The old school friend smiled as he asked if I was ready to date again, I laughed and said I don’t know it has been 6 years and part of me yes the other part I’m not sure. He smiled a beautiful smile and said you just haven’t come into the path of the right one yet, and gave me a warm hug. As we were talking there was a board with numbers, we were taking turns using the numbers to speak. 99 kept highlighting for me and the word covenant kept coming up. I said I’ll be 99 and the friend who just spoke to me said I’ll be 100 then. We all laughed.
